NOIM Lodgement Letter for Immigration purpose
On request, we can provide a "To Whom It May Concern" letter confirming that a party has lodged a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), evidencing an intention to marry.
This letter confirms that a NOIM has been lodged — it is not, on its own, confirmation that a marriage has taken place. Where the Nikkah is solemnised by Hafiz Imran Khan as an authorised celebrant meeting all Marriage Act requirements, that ceremony itself is the legal marriage (see disclaimers below).
We are not registered migration agents and do not provide visa or immigration assistance. For visa matters, please consult a MARA-registered migration agent or immigration lawyer.

Legal & Religious Disclaimers
Al Wasil Marriage Celebrant (AWMC) provides professionally conducted marriage services in accordance with Australian legal requirements and individual client circumstances.
Under Australian law, only one legal marriage may be registered per individual under the Marriage Act 1961 (Cth).
Where Hafiz Imran Khan personally solemnises your Nikkah as your Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant, and all requirements of the Marriage Act 1961 (Cth) are met, including a valid Notice of Intended Marriage, required witnesses, and a signed marriage certificate — your Nikkah ceremony is itself your legally recognised marriage in Australia. No separate civil ceremony is required.
If a Nikkah is conducted by an officiant who is not an authorised celebrant under the Marriage Act, that ceremony alone does not create a legally recognised marriage in Australia. In that case, the couple must separately fulfil the Act's requirements with an authorised celebrant.
Any religious, cultural, educational, or ceremonial guidance provided by AWMC is general in nature and should not be relied upon as legal, migration, immigration, financial, or professional advice.
AWMC does not provide legal representation, migration advice, or visa guarantees. All visa, immigration, and legal decisions remain the responsibility of the individuals involved and the relevant government authorities.
Where appropriate, a letter confirming lodgement of a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) may be provided upon request. This letter does not confirm that a marriage has occurred, and does not guarantee the outcome of any visa, immigration, or administrative application. Confirmation of a solemnised and registered marriage can only be obtained from the relevant state or territory Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
